With 548 films registered, representing 50 countries, PriMed – the Mediterranean in Images Festival (Festival de la Méditerranée en Images) recorded an exceptional turnout for its 29th edition. These figures reflect the festival’s growing influence and confirm the sustained interest of audiovisual professionals in the Mediterranean.
The works presented illustrate an extraordinary diversity of formats and sensibilities: auteur documentaries, investigative reports, intimate stories, and long-term investigations. This richness reflects the vitality of audiovisual productions focusing on Mediterranean themes and the central role PriMed plays in promoting them.
The official selection is currently underway. It will be unveiled shortly at a press conference that will outline the highlights of this new edition.
Organized by the Mediterranean Center for Audiovisual Communication (CMCA), PriMed has established itself year after year as a leading venue for engaged audiovisual stories about the Mediterranean. It brings together authors from around the world, bringing unique, critical, and creative perspectives.
