France 3 Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur will broadcast two award-winning short films from the CourtMed 2025 competition on Friday, June 27, starting at 9:10 a.m.
Organized by the Mediterranean Center for Audiovisual Communication (CMCA), “CourtMed” is a free competition that showcases audiovisual works of less than 15 minutes produced by students, young filmmakers, and graduate journalists from Mediterranean countries. These films address topics related to issues, culture, heritage, history, societies, or the lives of Mediterranean populations.

“Studies for a Close-Up”

Matteo, a young director, is working on his new short film. After receiving an old Super 8 camera as a gift, he explores the streets of Rome to find faces and stories to film, which opens an exploration of what the face can reveal about oneself.
Nicolò Bressan Degli Antoni: Born in Venice in 1998, Nicolò Bressan Degli Antoni holds a degree in Conservation and Management of Cultural Heritage and Activities from the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
“La casa de Silvia”

The story follows two friends, Martín and Raúl, who wander through Madrid at night, heading to a party at Silvia’s house. Along the way, they chat, argue, and joke, exploring themes such as friendship, love, and the fears of a generation growing up in a time of uncertainty.
Alvaro Lucas: Born in 1997, Álvaro Lucas is an actor, screenwriter, and director. He studied theater and film at ECAM (Educational Academy of Music and Drama), and is currently studying playwriting and directing at RESAD (Science and Technology Institute). “La casa de Silvia” is his first short film as a director.
These broadcasts on France 3 PACA constitute a valuable showcase for works resulting from the CourtMed competition, while offering young directors a strategic opportunity to gain visibility with the general public.
