The Mediterranean Center for Audiovisual Communication (CMCA), in partnership with INA Méditerranée, organized the 18th edition of the training course on writing reports using audiovisual archives from September 22 to 26, 2025.
Intended for journalists and producers from CMCA member television stations, this workshop aims to strengthen their skills in exploiting audiovisual heritage for journalistic production.
The training began with a theoretical component focused on archival preservation, documentary research, and the legal aspects of their use. It continued with a practical workshop, during which participants produced a short report combining filmed footage and selected archival footage, with the assistance of professionals during the filming and editing stages.
The training was coordinated by Franco Revelli – CMCA.
