The selection for the 28th edition of PriMed was presented at the press conference on November 5.

The selected films are distinguished by their thematic diversity, whether historical stories, social issues or cultural explorations, while emphasizing the social, political and environmental realities of the Mediterranean.
Among the films in the official selection, several highlight the unique challenges faced by Mediterranean women, whether in the area of human rights, gender inequalities, or domestic violence. In certain Mediterranean societies, women continue to fight for recognition of their rights, access to education, employment, and a life without violence. The documentaries in this 2024 edition offer poignant stories that explore societal and political obstacles, while giving voice to those who fight for their emancipation and freedom.
