LAUNCH OF NEW TRAINING ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MEDIA

The CMCA in collaboration with France TV is launching a new training course “AI FOR JOURNALISTS AND TELEVISION : ETHICAL APPROACH, DISCOVERY OF TOOLS AND KNOWLEDGE SHARING”.
This workshop, intended for television stations in the Mediterranean basin that are members of the CMCA, will take place in Paris, at the premises of France Télévisions, on September 24 and 25, 2024.

The training offers an in-depth exploration of the ethical implications and practical applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of journalism and audiovisual creation. The first day begins with a presentation of the fundamentals of AI, in particular its language models and their uses, followed by a discussion on the charters for the use of AI and the associated ethical challenges, illustrated by concrete examples of use by ChatGPT.

The second day focuses on AI tools relevant to audiovisual creation, with practical demonstrations and a visit to the France Info TV studios to observe technological applications in the production of television content. The training concludes with an assessment offering participants the opportunity to reflect on their experience and discuss with the speakers.
