THE “MEDITERRANEAN YOUTH AWARD” OF THE PriMed 2022, BROADCASTED ON FRANCE3 PACA

For the first time, a PriMed-winning film was broadcast on France 3 Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur on May 4th.

This distribution is particularly important, since it crowns the work of thousands of high school students from both shores of the Mediterranean. They came from Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Italy and the Southern Region. They watched 3 documentaries, Erasmus in Gaza, Gemma has a plan and Malta, in the name of Daphne, which allowed them to question their Euro-Mediterranean citizenship.

After voting, either face-to-face in Marseille or in their respective countries during screening sessions, they awarded the Mediterranean Youth Prize to the documentary Erasmus in Gaza.

Directed by Matteo Delbò and Chiara Avesani, Eramus in Gaza retraces the unusual journey of an Italian student, who came to a conflict zone to train in war surgery and write his thesis on wounds from explosive bullets. Once there, he discovers the occupation and the life of young Gazaoui.es with whom he will establish close relationships.

Broadcasted as part of the program, La France en Vrai, on France 3 Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur, Erasmus in Gaza is now accessible free of charge until June 4, 2023 in replay on france.tv.
