SCREENING OF THE FILM “TOMORROW IS OURS”: A MOBILIZATION FOR CHILDREN’S RIGHTS IN MARSEILLE

The City of Marseille, UNICEF, and the CMCA (Centre des Métiers et des Activités de la Culture – Center for Children and Adolescents) organized a screening of the film “Tomorrow Is Ours,” directed by Gilles de Maistre, at the Château de la Buzine on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The CMCA notably contributed to the publicity surrounding this initiative.

Open to the public, this event brought together participants to discuss issues related to children’s rights. The screening was followed by discussions and awareness-raising activities. A UNICEF booth, staffed by volunteers, also provided information to visitors about the organization’s work to protect children.

Gilles de Maistre’s documentary offers an immersive look at children working in various countries, facing situations of injustice such as child labor, poverty, and violations of fundamental rights. It highlights their initiatives and their ability to take action, despite their young age.
