The Mediterranean Center for Audiovisual Communication (CMCA) is launching the third edition of the CourtMed Competition, dedicated to young filmmakers and journalists from the Mediterranean region.
Registration is free and open until March 31, 2026.
Conditions of Participation
The competition is free and open to individuals (students from universities, film and journalism schools, as well as recently graduated filmmakers and journalists) from a country in the Mediterranean region, and to organizations such as schools, universities, distributors, and production companies (hereinafter referred to as “the Participant(s)”).
The submitted audiovisual works must address topics related to the issues, culture, heritage, history, societies, and lives of women and men in Mediterranean countries. Any audiovisual work, regardless of genre or technique (fiction, documentary, reportage, animation, etc.), with a maximum duration of 15 minutes and completed after January 1, 2025, is eligible.
A unique opportunity
The CourtMed Competition allows young creators to showcase their work across the Mediterranean. The winners will be announced between April and May 2026 on www.cmca-med.org
