The Mediterranean Center for Audiovisual Communication (CMCA) is launching the second edition of the CourtMed Competition, dedicated to young directors and journalists from the Mediterranean basin.
Registrations are free and open from February 6 to March 31, 2025.
Conditions of participation
The competition is free and open to individuals (students of universities, cinema and journalism schools as well as young directors and journalists who have recently graduated) from one of the countries of the Mediterranean basin, and to legal entities such as schools, universities, distributors, production companies (hereinafter referred to as “the Participants).
The audiovisual works presented deal with subjects relating to issues, culture, heritage, history, societies and the lives of women and men in Mediterranean countries. Any audiovisual work regardless of genre and technique (fiction, documentary, report, animation, etc.) with a maximum duration of 15 minutes and completed after January 1, 2024 is eligible.
Registrations and Selection
Applicants must register online before March 31, 2025 and provide a viewing link subtitled in French or English.
A unique opportunity
The CourtMed Competition allows young creators to make their work known on a Mediterranean scale. Winners will be announced between April and May 2025 on cmca-med.org.
