The 20th edition of PriMed is coming to the end. Thanks to the directors present and to the many spectators who participated in the exciting debates organized after the screenings. A total of 6000 spectators attended the screenings and the various events organized during this PriMed 2016.
This 20th edition was also placed under the sign of image education, with an new organization that allowed 2,500 high school students from the PACA region, Switzerland and the Mediterranean (Algeria, Egypt, Italy).

6000 spectateurs au total ont assisté aux projections et aux différents événements organisés durant ce PriMed 2016. Le public a pu découvrir à la Villa Méditerranée, à l’Alcazar et au Mucem les 24 documentaires sélectionnés en compétition, et dialoguer avec les réalisateurs, invités à Marseille pour l’occasion.
Un jury de professionnels, présidé par le journaliste et politologue Antoine Sfeir, s’est réuni pour départager ces films et attribuer les 11 récompenses, dont 3 Prix à la Diffusion et une Mention spéciale.
Cette 20ème édition du festival était également placée sous le signe de l’éducation à l’image, avec un dispositif inédit qui a permis à 2500 lycéens de la Région PACA, de Suisse et de Méditerranée (Algérie, Egypte, Italie) de participer au PriMed en visionnant 3 films de la sélection.
