Raed découvre par hasard que le bel arbre qui pousse devant sa maison est l’un de ces arbres invasifs qui menacent la diversité environnementale dans la forêt libanaise. Il entreprend alors un voyage d’exploration de cet arbre avec son ami Hadi et Dr Muhammad, spécialiste des plantes invasives, dans un temps où le pays est exposé à un autre type d’invasion représenté par les attaques israéliennes contre les humains et leur environnement.

He contributed to independent films, TV series, and cultural projects in Syria and Lebanon, using art for social change. The Tree of Hell is his first independent film.
